How to become a member

The preferred candidate is from a CEE country, speaks fluent English, works in healthcare or is involved in health policy, has energy and time for regular network meetings. Members activities for the network are not paid. 

As we would like to expand our network to other CEE countries, we now open the possibility for new applicants to gain a status of "Observer" for a year.

Observer could participate on our regular meetings, contribute to the production of network products with expertise but would have no voting rights and would not pay membership fee for this first year. After one year, Observer would have to decide whether to become an individual member.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. Agreement with values, mission and vision of the network

  2. Ability to work for free for the network

  3. Voluntary attendance at the network meetings

  4. Ability to fund all travel, accommodation, food and local transport costs during the annual network meetings (once a year)

  5. Status of Observer is valid only for one year.

  6. Accept the Chatham rules during the network meetings

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. Agreement with values, mission and vision of the network

  2. Ability to work for free for the network

  3. Voluntary attendance at the network meetings

  4. Ability to fund all travel, accommodation, food and local transport costs during the annual network meetings (once a year)

  5. Volunteering in preparation of the network meetings

  6. Accept the Chatham rules during the network meetings

  7. Membership fee of 1–100 EUR annually, due each year on November 15th

The membership must be confirmed at least by  51% of all regular CEE HPN members.
