KEY RESULTS OF THE DIGI4CARE PROJECT
The final activity of the project was the organisation of a National Roundtable, which took place on 18 June 2026 at the premises of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region. The event brought together key healthcare stakeholders, including policy makers, healthcare professionals, representatives of health insurance, public authorities, patient organisations, ambulatory care providers, and technology vendors.
The main objective of the National Roundtable was to present and discuss the key results and outputs of the DIGI4Care project and to support their further uptake beyond the project lifetime. Particular attention was given to the project’s policy recommendations, Business Case Analysis from payer and also from provider perspective, and Institutional Action Plans, which represent important elements of the project’s sustainability approach and reflect the commitments made by project partners to continue building on the achieved results.
The meeting combined presentations with an open stakeholder discussion, allowing participants to provide feedback on the presented outputs, share practical perspectives, and discuss their potential application in the Slovak healthcare system.
The discussion also addressed the sustainability and scalability of the tested digital solutions and possible pathways for their broader implementation in healthcare practice. In this way, the National Roundtable served not only as a presentation of the final project results, but also as an important step towards maintaining stakeholder engagement and supporting the continuation of project activities and outcomes after the formal end of DIGI4Care.
The entire DIGI4Care project was officially concluded in June 2026 at the final conference in Budapest, attended by all project partners.
